These photos are from a week before Christmas. My mom had been wanting a family photo for a long time. We probably hadn't had one since my mom and Terry or Andy and Corrie's weddings when Isaac was two.. They weren't going to be available for Christmas so we procrastinated and finally received them last week. As I looked through the photos, I thought about how just 5-6 years ago it was just my mom, my brothers, and me. If you know us then you'll know what I'm talking about. There were some unique circumstances, some painful, that brought these people into our lives and God has been faithful to each of us. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him..." Romans 8:28. These are the people that Ella has come to love in the last year, the people she lists off in her prayers (sometimes over and over!) and who she's referring to when she prays, "Bless-a family..." It will be fun to see what this picture looks like in another 5 years!
