I can't believe I met Miss Ella 11 months ago yesterday and we're quickly coming upon a year together! Ella continues to keep herself busy even with a cast that goes from her waist to her left hand... She has applied lotion to her cast and this morning she tried to clean our TV with nasal spray! She's always into something or trying to climb to get something. She knows all the (capital) letters of the alphabet and can write her name. She has a couple favorite books now and is developing a little more patience with someone reading to her. She's been more interested in "I Love You Like Crazy Cakes," a children's book about a single woman adopting her baby girl from China. (I had to try really hard not to cry the first couple times I read it out loud!) She's beginning to show a little preference to pink and pretends to put on makeup. She's had an eventful month but she's doing great.

I just wanted to say hi after seeing your post on the Bethany forum as an advocate for the little boy with BPI. We also adopted a SN little girl (heart condition and extra thumb). Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary. Your daughter is just beautiful and such an inspiration. Continued blessings. I hope to continue to follow your journey.
